About me

Currently, I am a scientific researcher and PhD candidate at the chair of Financial Data Analytics of Prof. Dr. Muntermann at the University of Augsburg, Germany. My studies focus on hierarchical taxonomies and the visualizations of taxonomies in the information systems (IS) research.

I studied Business and Information Systems Engineering at both the bachelor's and master's level at the University of Augsburg, specializing in Operations, Finance, and Information Management. During my master's program, I completed an exchange semester at Örebro University in Sweden.

In my bachelor's thesis, "Can Digital Innovation Units be Catalysts for the Digital Transformation of Firms," I examined the influences of internal corporate teams on digital transformation as described in the literature.

In my master's thesis, "Analyzing and Improving Readability in German Environmental, Social, and Governance Reporting," I applied machine learning methods, including task-specific fine-tuned transformer models and general-purpose large language models, alongside established methods from natural language processing, to investigate how the readability of German ESG reports can be automatically assessed and improved.

During my studies, I tutored students on Information Systems as well as Business Informatics while working for the chair of Information Systems and Management of Prof. Dr. Veit. Additionally, I created and maintained websites for several chairs at the university. During my Bachelors I worked as a working student for web development and supported students as secondary director of our student initiative Winitiative e.V..
